4th of July

For the 4th this year we headed out to Grandpa & Grandma Anderson's house for the weekend. It was great to get away from the heat of the desert for a couple of days! We went out on Friday and on Saturday our friends, Jeremy, Angella & Hudson, joined us for the rest of the time!

On Saturday we got up and hung out around the house for a bit before we headed off to the beach for the rest of the day. Here is Emma in her pretty dress:

We played on the beach all day until it was time to watch the fireworks:

Emma was very tired by the time it was dark enough to start fireworks and getting a bit crabby. But, once she saw them starting she got very still and quiet to watch them. She was very fascinated. However, the show was a bit long this year and so she did get fussy before they were over. All in all though she really enjoyed them and her first 4th of July at the beach!
